Azerbaijani Citizen Wounded by Terrorists in Igdir
An Azerbaijani citizen was injured Sept. 10 in an attack by PKK terrorists in the Igdir province of Turkey.
Dogan News Agency said that a group of about 30 terrorists blocked the road in Igdir and opened fire on a passing car. As a result, there were wounded in the truck, including two Turkish nationals and also a citizen of Azerbaijan - Aykhan Suleymanov. The wounded were placed in the Igdir hospital.
The Foreign Ministry spokesman Elman Abdullayev said that according to initial information, the wounded man is a resident of Azerbaijan's Sadarak region of Nakhichevan. The Consulate General of Azerbaijan in Kars deals with Aykhan Suleymanov's case. -16D04-
