Azerbaijani Defense Ministry refutes reports on pressure on Injagulyan
Azerbaijani Defense Ministry denied the Armenian media reports about the torture of prisoner of war Akop Injagulyan.
He was in Azerbaijani captivity in August 2013, and the other day was sent to a third country on his own, and from there he returned to Armenia.
Press Service of the Ministry of Defense said that after the capture he was not subjected to any pressure, and treated him in accordance with the provisions of the International Convention.
Information on the use of torture against Injagulyan is an invention of the Armenian side.
Injagulyan was under the control of the relevant international organizations. In addition, he rejected the offers to return to Armenia, insisting on his transfer to a third party, reads the statement of the Defense Ministry. -05D04-
