Azerbaijani National Chess Team Defeats Armenian Team
Baku / 28.09.18 / Turan: The Azerbaijani men's national chess team, having defeated the Armenian team with a score of 2.5: 1.5 at the World Olympiad in Batumi on September 28, topped the standings.
Shahriyar Mammadyarov, who plays on the first board, defeated the leader of the Armenian national team Levon Aronyan (1: 0). Teymur Rajabov defeated Gabriel Sargsyan (1: 0).
Rauf Mammadov played with the opponent in a draw (0.5: 0.5). And only Arkadi Naidich lost the party (0: 1).
The Azerbaijan team, having won in all games of the Olympiad, takes the first place with 10 points. -06D--
