Azerbaijani Rescuers Join Search for Iranian Sailor
Baku / 26.02.18 / Turan: The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Border Service of Azerbaijan are involved in search operations in connection with the disappearance of a crew member of the Iranian cargo ship Taradis in the Caspian Sea, the press service of the Emergencies Ministry reported.
An appeal about the missing Iranian sailor was received by the Emergency Management Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan from the Iranian Maritime Administration.
The sailor disappeared when the ship was in the Azerbaijani part of the Caspian Sea.
On the morning of February 26, a helicopter from the Ministry of Emergencies squadron and two Coast Guard vessels of the Azerbaijani State Frontier Service were brought in for search. -16D-
