Azerbaijanis and Turks learn Brighton Beach
Brighton Beach in New York Brooklyn is well-known for the fact that there resides a large Russian-speaking Diaspora. There is much reminiscent of the former Soviet Union. Carriers of the memory and traditions are immigrants from the former Soviet Union, the number of which since 2007 has grown from 75,000 to 1 million people.
Once associated with Russian and Ukrainian people, the area already includes the Uzbek, Georgian, Armenian and Azerbaijani communities.
It is safe to speak in Russian, not only in stores and restaurants, but also to obtain legal advice, to solve banking problems, etc.
Recently, Brighton Beach has been actively explored by the Azerbaijanis and the Turks. For two years a network of restaurants and shops of immigrants from Turkey and Azerbaijan has opened in the area. The best-known objects of this series are commercial sites, such as Nargiz and Gulluoglu. -25B-

In the last two days, a "news" story appeared on TikTok about a whale spotted on Baku's seaside boulevard. The most "observant" users posted videos, commenting on the size of the animal. Later, other "witnesses" claimed it wasn't a whale, but a shark. Even later, a version emerged suggesting it was a submarine.
