Azercell extends campaign for War Veterans
Azerbaijani leading mobile operator Azercell Telecom has extended the campaign for war veterans, launched on 2 April 2015, till 30 March 2017. Under the campaign which reflects the attention and care of the company towards war veterans, these special subscribers will receive 100 % bonus of the amount of first top-up in a calendar month. The bonus may beusedfor on-netcalls, SMS and MMS within7 daysfollowingtherefill.
It should be noted that for the past three years Azercell Telecom has regularly conducted special campaigns for veterans of Garabagh war, Afghanistan war and Great Civil War. More than 28 000 veterans benefitted from these discounts getting bonuses worth morethan 5.4 mln AZNfrom Azercell.

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
