Baku-Moscow Train Crashes with Truck
On May 7, at 22:55, at the 29 km point of the Zabrat-Pirshagi road, (Apsheron Peninsula), there was a collision between a Baku-Moscow passenger train and a truck. The Ministry of Internal Affairs press service said, the truck was driven by a resident Samukh Habil Guliyev.
The truck driver received injuries, as well as the train conductor, Tofig Dunyamaliev, and his assistant Shamsaddin Babayev, and Russian citizen Alexander Gusev.
All patients are in satisfactory condition. Train traffic was restored on May 8 at 02:15.
The police department is investigating the matter. -16D-
