Barda Resident Arrested for Calling Bomb in Subway
Police arrested a resident of Barda for a false call about a bomb planted in the Baku Metro, said the Interior Ministry's press service.
According to the same source, in the afternoon of November 4 on the number 102 the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry received information on a bomb laid on the 20 January metro station. The caller claimed that 13 minutes later the bomb would explode.
During the investigation, it was determined that the caller was a previously convicted resident of the Barda region Shahlar Hasanov. He was detained and prosecuted.
Hasanov’s motives are not reported, noting that for a long time, the phone terrorists had stopped scaring people with calls like this. Last time such an event had taken place 5 years ago. Then the greatest activity was shown by “schoolchildren terrorists” -02D-
