According to him, B. Mammadov called home on June 27 and said he had stopped the hunger strike, which he conducted as a sign of protest against the conditions of his imprisonment.

Recall that B. Mammadov protested against placing him in a cell next to the toilet. He said the administration sold empty room to prisoners for money.

After the activist resorted to an extreme measure, the administration asked him to stop the hunger strike, assuring that in the coming days they would give him another place in the barracks, the activist's father said.
