Body Found in Sea on Saturday Belongs to Oilman
The body of a man discovered on Saturday in the coastal zone of the village of Pirsaat belongs to the mechanic of Oil and Gas Production Department (OGPD) named after Narimanov, Elchin Hasanov, born in 1957, the rescue headquarters stated.
Recall that on December 15 last year approximately 30 km to the south of Baku there was an accident when a storm wind tore down 150 meters of metal structures from a sea overpass. As a result, 10 people fell down into extremely cold water. Later, bodies of four of the oilmen were found.
Thus, the bodies of five more people have not yet been found. Recall that earlier, in December 2015, a storm caused an accident on a stationary oil platform, pushing 33 people into the water. Later, bodies of 12 of the oilmen were found. The rest were never found. -02D-
