Border guards seized 12 kg of heroin and 10 kg of opium from drug couriers
Baku / 01.09..20 / Turan: Near the village of the Bala Bahmanli in the Fizuly region, border guards detained two citizens of Azerbaijan Babayev Jabir( born in 1985) and Agifa Shiralizadeh.
According to the Border Service, these persons have repeatedly violated the state border.
During the search of these citizens, about 12 kg of heroin and about 10 kg of opium were found.
During the interrogation, the detainees received drugs from Iran from a supplier named Kazim and Samir.

Last night, three earthquakes occurred along the Armenia-Azerbaijan border with magnitudes of 4.8, 3.0, and 3.8, according to the Republican Center for Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan. The Ministry of Emergency Situations reported no information about any destruction or casualties as a result of the earthquakes.
