Baku / 01.09..20 / Turan: The Ministry of Justice officially registered the Republican Alternative Party (ReAl). Today, the deputy minister of justice Togrul Musayev officially presented    the registration certificate to the chairman of the party Ilgar Mammadov.

He said that the decision on registration was made the day before at a meeting of the department's board, according to a message published on the Facebook page of the ReAl party.

During the meeting, Mammadov positively assessed the change in the state's policy on registration of the party, which creates the basis for real political changes in the country.

Mammadov also recalled that during the ongoing dialogue with the government, ReAl has repeatedly raised the issue of improving the conditions for NGOs' activities.

He expressed hope that the recent meeting of the presidential aide, head of the head of state’s administration for external relations, Hikmet Hajiyev, with the leaders of NGOs would open the way in this direction.

Mammadov also noted the importance of the full implementation of the ECHR decisions and the role that the Judicial-Legal Council can play in this matter.

In April of this year, the Plenum of the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan, pursuant to the decisions of the ECHR, fully acquitted Mammadov and awarded him monetary compensation.

* 55 political parties are currently registered in the country. Most of them are pro-government. At the same time, a number of registered parties are not familiar to the population.-03В-
