Citizen of Azerbaijan Seized 1,700,000 USD in Moscow Airport
An Azerbaijani citizen has been detained in Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport. He tried to bring 1,700,000 USD with him. The name of the detainee is not informed. It is known that he arrived on a flight from Dubai.
The passenger filed a customs declaration on the import of just over 1 million USD. When checking, it turned out that the money was 700,000 USD more. That's five times the size of the money authorized for import without declaration.
