Court ruled on the arrest of Hafiz Mammadov "Havka"
Baku/27.01.22/Turan: Yasamal court issued a decision on 27 January for the arrest of well-known businessman Hafiz Mammadov (Havk) for large-scale tax and social tax evasion.
The State Tax Service reported that evasion from taxes and social contributions was revealed at the enterprises actually owned by Mammadov.
A criminal case has been initiated on these facts. In law enforcement agencies, Turan agency was informed that Mammadov was arrested.
The name of this man appeared several times in various scandalous stories. In different years, he owned more than a dozen firms and companies in the field of construction, trade, as well as the soccer club "Baku".
In 2014, he bought English soccer club Sheffield Wansday from England's second league.
In 2016, he bought the French club Lance. Later, due to financial problems, he lost these and his other assets.
