Baku / 26.01.18 / Turan: Hasan Meshadiyev, who was accused of a murder, was rendered harmless while providing armed resistance to the police. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was wanted for the murder of a resident of Khirdalan, previously convicted Osman Abdullayev, in the settlement of Lokbatan, Garadagh district, on January 15.
Meshadiyev was found in the village of Hokmali of the Absheron district and refused to surrender to the police. Investigative actions are being carried out. -03D-

A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported. "Thanks to the urgent and necessary measures taken by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, the spread of the fire to neighboring areas, including nearby residential buildings, has been prevented," the statement reads.
