Detained Flight Attendants on Baku-London Released
The flight attendants of AZAL, detained by the police in London Heathrow on January 24, were released on January 26, the head of the press service of the state-owned Azerbaijani airline Pasha Kesamanski said.
“The case is not closed, but the employees of the company have already been released and are awaiting departure back home. In the near future they will be back in Baku,” Kesamanski said.
As previously reported, on January 24 during the flight Baku-London performed by AZAL, one of the passengers that had taken too much alcohol faced a refusal to give her more. Then she complained of the flight attendants who did not give her extra servings of alcohol.
After the flight, at London Heathrow, the police received a complaint from her about the alleged "unworthy" behavior of the stewards in relation to the passenger. The flight attendants were detained by the police to ascertain all the circumstances.
According to unofficial data, the passenger’s complaint concerned the alleged obscenity used by the flight attendants. -02D-
