Due to the collapse of pedestrian overpass denied entry to Baku from Shikhovo
The collapse in the evening on June 2 of the elevated pedestrian crossing on the route Baku -Salyan in the beach area Shikhovo stopped traffic at the entrance and exit of the capital.
Not yet put into operation, the overpass collapsed as a result of a collision of a car moving at high speed with a crane.
The pedestrian overpass collapsed on the truck brand MAN ( 99 -JK- 467), whose driver Ilkin Huseynov with a severe traumatic brain injury was placed in the intensive care unit of the clinical urban center. Six other people suffered, too.
Due to the closure of the road because of the accident, a long traffic jam originated on the road Baku -Salyan.
Currently steps are taken to clear the road. - 06B-
