Due to the collapse of pedestrian overpass denied entry to Baku from Shikhovo
The collapse in the evening on June 2 of the elevated pedestrian crossing on the route Baku -Salyan in the beach area Shikhovo stopped traffic at the entrance and exit of the capital.
Not yet put into operation, the overpass collapsed as a result of a collision of a car moving at high speed with a crane.
The pedestrian overpass collapsed on the truck brand MAN ( 99 -JK- 467), whose driver Ilkin Huseynov with a severe traumatic brain injury was placed in the intensive care unit of the clinical urban center. Six other people suffered, too.
Due to the closure of the road because of the accident, a long traffic jam originated on the road Baku -Salyan.
Currently steps are taken to clear the road. - 06B-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.

During the operation of the Main Drug Control Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 5 members of an organized group engaged in drug trafficking were detained. All of them have previous convictions: Bahlul Ismayilov, Royal Aliyev, Khayal Aliyev, Samir Aghayev, and Ali Mammadli.
