Earthquake of magnitude 4.8 occurred in south of Azerbaijan
Baku/26.07.23/Turan: Today, at 11.03 in 23 km an earthquake occurred northwest of the city of Lankaran in southern Azerbaijan, the Republican Center of Seismological Service of the National Academy of Sciences of the country reported.
According to the service, the earthquake was located at a depth of 6 km, the magnitude at the epicenter was 4.8. Tremors of 5-3 points on a 12-point scale were felt in the surrounding areas. There was no information about casualties and destruction. -06B-

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
