Exercises in Nakhchivan involved 20 thousand military men
Under the leadership of Defense Minister Zakir Hasanov, April 16-17 in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic there were large-scale military exercises of the armed forces of Azerbaijan.
As the press service of the Defense Ministry said, about 20 thousand soldiers were involved in the exercises, as well as more than 400 armored vehicles, aircraft , air defense systems , artillery, and special forces.
The exercises were carried out with practical shooting from tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, rockets, artillery and mortars. -16D06-
