Farewell ceremonies for journalists killed in Kelbajar
Baku/05.06.21/Turan: Today, farewell ceremonies were held for journalists Maharram Ibragimov and Siraj Abishev who had been killed yesterday as a result of a mine explosion in the Kelbajar district.
Hundreds of people, including governmental officials, the public, journalists, and ordinary citizens, took part in the funeral ceremonies held in homes of the victims in the Rasulzade settlement of Baku and Sumgayit.
Many of them came with Azerbaijani flags.
Today, the funeral of the victims will take place.
The journalists were blown up by a mine while performing their professional duties.—06D-
