FC Neftchi's Battle Draw

Baku / 09/08/19 / Turan: On August 8, the Baku FC Neftchi in the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the European Football League played a 2-2 draw in their home field with the Israeli FC Bnei Yehuda.

In the first half, the game did not work at FC Neftchi. The attacks of the Baku players were stuck in the defense in depth of the guests. At the same time, Bnei Yehuda carried out quick and sharp counterattacks. During one of them, at the 26th minute, Tambi Sagas, using a breach in the defense of FC Neftchi, opened the score. After 10 minutes, Mohammed Qadir doubled the score.

Only at the end of the first half, the Baku players came out of shock from the conceded goals and increased the onslaught at the goal. In the 43rd minute, a protracted assault on the hosts was a success - Joseph Monroso returned a goal.

The entire second half of the game was held with the advantage of FC Neftchi. The FC Bnei Yehuda players openly played to keep the score. The guests literally used every drop to call a doctor, and the FC Bnei Yehuda players were taken away on a stretcher. However, the "victims" immediately returned to the field, and the judge never punished the guests for the simulation. However, the referee took into account all the stops and added 8 minutes.

FC Neftchi's insistence was rewarded. In the penultimate minute of the added time, Namig Aleskerov was quicker than anyone at the ball that the teammate had thrown back to the goalie line and shot unmistakably. FC Neftchi escaped defeat, but in a week the Baku players will actually have to win, which will not be easy. -06D--
