Fifteen kilo of drugs confiscted on the Iranian-Azerbaijani border
Baku / 17.04.19 / Turan: On April 11, the Frontier Service seized 15 kg of drugs, which were thrown on the spot by two violators.
According to the State Border Service, the incident took place near the village of Sim in the Astara region. Noticing the two violators moving from Iran, the border guards commanded "stop!", but the violators left their cargo and ran back.

As part of the struggle against illegal migration in Baku city, operative actions were carried out at different addresses. The Interior Ministry reports that employees of the Department for Combating Illegal Migration identified and detained 34 foreigners without documents giving the right to reside and stay on the territory of Azerbaijan.
