Starting from the 2019/2020 school year, the costs of education of students on a paid basis in the universities of Azerbaijan in the bachelor's and master's programs and magistracies of the National Academy of Sciences, as well as in secondary specialized educational institutions will be paid by the state. This year, 22,000 foreign language teachers and an additional 4,000 teachers who were unable to pass certification last year will be involved in the certification process, the director of the state agency for preschool and general education, Eshgi Bagirov, announced on February 12.
