Baku / 09/03/19 / Turan: Housing and maintenance departments of the city of Baku have begun cutting down trees that have dried up on the root. This was stated by the representative of the Association of Landscaping of the city of Baku Orkhan Mammadov.
According to him, about 12,000 dried trees will be cut down in a total of 12 districts in the city of Baku.
1,200 trees have already been cut down.
Mammadov noted that old dried trees are dangerous in strong winds, as they fall on people and cars. On the other hand, these trees no longer create shade or coolness, he added. -06D--
