Flag of Azerbaijan Hoisted over Manaslu!
Baku / 26.09.19 / Turan: The representative of Azerbaijan, Israfil Ashurlu, as part of an international expedition (Chatur Tamang and Tatyana Abrahamson), made a successful ascent to the Himalayan eight-thousander Manaslu (8,156 m) early in the morning on September 26.
The expedition organizers told Turan that the assault on the peak began at midnight on September 25, when the four climbers left camp number 4 at an altitude of 7,400 meters and reached the summit 7 hours later.
Currently, Ashurlu and other climbers descend to camp 3.
Manaslu became the fourth eight-thousander conquered by Ashurlu and the first Azerbaijani ascent to this peak.
If the weather permits and there is enough strength, climbers will return to the base camp by evening.-02B-

The project for the creation of a transport interchange center at the “Koroglu” metro station has been prepared and agreed upon by the Land Transport Agency (AYNA).
