From July 1, weddings are permitted provided you have a COVID-passport
Baku/22.06.21/Turan: Weddings, engagements and birthdays are permitted in Azerbaijan from July 1. The decision has been made due to the improvement of the situation around the coronavirus pandemic, the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers stated on June 22.
For weddings with 50 to 150 people involved you will need a COVID-passport while the medical masks are canceled.
Also, at least 80 % of wedding attendants should have a COVID passport. Staff must wear masks, musicians will not need masks.
Data on the number of guests at weddings and other celebrations should be entered on the portal icaze-gov.az at least five days in advance. Otherwise, the celebration is prohibited.
In case of celebration with a number of masked guests up to 50, no COVID passport is not required.
Celebrations with more than 150 people involved are prohibited until an appropriate decision is made. -02D-

President of the European Parliament Roberta Metsola has invited Azerbaijani economist and political prisoner Professor Gubad Ibadoglu to Strasbourg to attend the 2024 Sakharov Prize award ceremony.
