General Prosecutor Office violates the presumption of innocence
The press service of the Prosecutor General issued a strange statement concerning the arrest of well-known journalist Khadija Ismayilova. The title itself is a violation of the presumption of innocence, because the prosecutor's office brings charges of committing a crime, and actually passes sentence Ismaylova without a court order. Thus, the prosecution argues that Ismaylova for a long time provided moral and psychological pressure on Tural Mustafayev, with whom she allegedly cohabited.
When he wanted to marry another, Ismailova drove him to suicide. Allegedly, she used her position on the radio "Azadlig" and "Meydan TV", and obtained Mustafayev’s dismissal in 2013.
The young man could not resist this "inhuman", and tried to commit suicide May 1, 2014.
All this from the prosecutor's office learned from Mustafayev’s statement , who asked to take action against Ismaylova.
On the basis of the complaint against Ismaylova was initiated proceedings under Article 125 of the Criminal Code (incitement to suicide) and arrested.
Commenting on the statement of the Prosecutor General, a lawyer Aslan Ismailov said that the privacy of citizens and the question of who is sleeping with whom, is not included in the powers of the prosecutor's office.
From the statement of the former bride of Mustafayev it is known that he was being treated in a psychiatric hospital. To arrest a person only on the basis of his testimony is a shame, said Aslan Ismaylov.-02D-
