German doctors fight for the health of 2-year-old Imran Jafarzade
There is no threat to the lives of 2-year-old Imran Jafarzadeh, who lost his leg on July 21 in the pool in Nabran. At present the child is under the control of the German doctors in a Berlin hospital Charitie, according to the Azerbaijani Embassy in Berlin.
On July 26 Imran was taken to the hospital Charite, where he immediately was operated on, and the operation lasted for six hours.
On July 30 a council of physicians noted the absence of the threat of life. The doctors are going to eliminate the consequences of severe injuries to both legs.
The recovery and healing process on the feet will continue for several weeks.
* Imran Jafarzadeh and his father were in the pool when the pump was turned on. Because of the lack of protection grid, the child's feet sucked into the pipe. As a result, he lost his leg and damaged another leg.
The Khachmaz Regional Prosecutor's Office filed a lawsuit under the Article 162.1 (violation of safety rules) and Article 314.2 (negligence), three people have been arrested.
