Germany expelled 23 Azerbaijani citizens
Baku/01.12.22/Turan: As a part of the agreement between Azerbaijan and the EU on readmission of citizens living without a permit, on November 30, 23 Azerbaijani citizens were returned from Germany. This is stated in the message of the State Migration Service of Azerbaijan for December 1.
The admission process was carried out in line with the procedure established by the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers idue to the coronavirus pandemic.
The report notes that the working group on reintegration is taking measures to address possible difficulties that returned citizens may face.
According to the State Migration Service, after the signing of the readmission agreement between Azerbaijan and the EU in 2014, 2013 citizens were returned to Azerbaijan by the end of 2021. Of these, 420 people were expelled in the last year. -06B-
