Group of war veterans complains about deprivation of pensions
Baku/19.11.21/Turan: A group of veterans of the first Karabakh war rallied in front of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection on November 19. They voiced their protest against not providing them with disability pensions for many months.
Other persons joined the action who also declared about being deprived of their disability pensions.
The police stopped the action. Some participants were put in police cars and removed from the area.
However, some protesters were taken to the Ministry of Labor. No comments came from this agency.
It should be added that this year the authorities revised the rules for awarding disability; that's why some of the disabled lost their benefits.-06D-
