Hajibala Abutalibov Does Not Answer Question of Who Allowed Using Fire-Dangerous Cladding
The fire in the apartment building in Baku could be sabotage, said the Mayor of Baku Hajibala Abutalibov. Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, he said that the President ordered to find out the guards of the buildings faced with plastic. According to him, such buildings in Baku are 140 and all of these buildings will be taken "samples."
After the results of the examination it will be decided whether or not to remove the lining, the Mayor said.
According to him, the lining of this material must withstand temperatures up to 546 degrees. However, the facing of the burned building only withstood 146 degrees.
During the conversation with the journalists at the meeting with fire victims Abutalibov did not answer the questions of who is responsible for the use of defective cladding and how it could be that the state authorities, including the Mayor, agreed to the use of a substandard material.
Instead, Abutalibov said that of the 15 who died in the fire, three were already buried in Lokbatan, two – in Masazir, one – in Guba, one in Sulutapa, and two are in the Binagadi morgue. Another one will be buried in the Rasulzade settlement.
Abutalibov receives the fire victims in the 5th Binagadi police department. -06D-
