Information on release of Anar Bayramli is not confirmed
On September 5, some media reported the release from prison Anar Bayramli, the reporter of the Baku office of Iranian TV channel “Seher”. He was convicted on charges of drug possession, and was imprisoned for 12 years. The Court of Appeal later reduced that period to one year.
But Anar Bayramli’s family , and colleagues from the office denied this news.
"he was not released, he is in prison, and we had not been informed about it," Turan was told by Yashar Bayramli , the brother of the reporter. Penitentiary Service did not confirm the information about the release of Bayramli on parole. -03D-
