Baku/23.05.17/Turan: Customs Service reported on Tuesday that on May 18, at the Baku airport from the citizen of Israel Alexander Gorenshtein were seized 25,000 undeclared. Gorenstein hid the money in a specially-sewn inner pocket of his trousers, trying to get him out of the country. When asked by the customs officers, the Israeli citizen said that he had $10.000 dollars with him. The rest of the sum was found during a personal inspection of the passenger. In fact, a protocol was drawn up. The State Customs Committee recalls that for the export of more than $10.000 thousand, a mandatory declaration and payment of a duty is required. A fire has erupted at the Experimental and Testing Production of the Scientific Research Institute of SOCAR (the state oil company) in the Surakhani district of Baku, the Ministry of Emergency Situations reported.
