Israeli citizen tried to take away $35.000 dollars
Baku/23.05.17/Turan: Customs Service reported on Tuesday that on May 18, at the Baku airport from the citizen of Israel Alexander Gorenshtein were seized 25,000 undeclared. Gorenstein hid the money in a specially-sewn inner pocket of his trousers, trying to get him out of the country. When asked by the customs officers, the Israeli citizen said that he had $10.000 dollars with him. The rest of the sum was found during a personal inspection of the passenger. In fact, a protocol was drawn up. The State Customs Committee recalls that for the export of more than $10.000 thousand, a mandatory declaration and payment of a duty is required. What happened to the withdrawn currency is not reported. -71D-
