Large-scale smuggling of drugs and cigarettes from Iran through the Caspian Sea has been stopped
Baku/20.10.23/Turan: On September 28-29, the Coast Guard forces of the State Border Service stopped drug smuggling from Iran through the Caspian Sea.
At sea, on the Salyan raid, 21.6 kg of marijuana tied to an anchor was found in plastic bags, the message of the State Border Service for October 20.
On October 15, the smuggling of a large number of cigarettes from Iran was prevented.
Boxes of cigarettes were hidden on the coast in the southern part of the Caspian Sea. 71 boxes of cigarettes were found: Marlboro, Kent. Boxes with cigarettes "Parliament" and "Milano" were found on the raid near the village of Alat.
Operational investigative measures are being carried out on both facts, the report says. ---0---
