The Azerbaijani parliament adopted the law on science in the final reading.
The latest version of the document includes the rate for long-term soft loans for doctoral tuition fees and other costs associated with education. The loan repayment will start after the beginning of the work.
In addition, the development of scientific and innovation is recognized public policy priority. In particular, it is supposed to encourage the development of industries based on high technology, to ensure their sales markets and export promotion.
The law will allow research institutions to attract donor funds and orders of business, besides receiving state financing. -06D--
