Yesterday Baku Administrative Economic Court of N 1 began hearing the suit of staff of civil society "Kura" against the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) in connection with this authority not responding to requests.
The queries were related information on the proper use of funds allocated for flood relief in spring 2010 in the central regions of the country and the earthquake in 2012 in the north-west zone.
As the coordinator of Staff "Kura" Oktay Gyulalyev told Turan, at the meeting he asked MES to provide answers on what exactly they had spent 1.1 billion dollars allocated by the state to eliminate the effects of floods and earthquakes.
The next hearing on the case is scheduled for September 30.
Yesterday the Shirvan Court of Appeal held a hearing on the complaint of the citizens affected by floods in Kura.
The claims were filed by citizens because they do not agree with MOE estimates of the degree of damage to the housing of local residents.
The next hearing on the case will take place on October 23. -05B06-

The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees.
