Lawyer: at the trial in the case of the activist Hasan Guseynli the "victim" incriminated him
Trial in the case of Hasan Huseynli, the head of the NGO "Education Center "Iintelligent citizen" began on Friday in Nizami district court of Ganja chaired by Ayaz Makhmudov.
He was charged under the Article 221.3 (hooliganism committed with a weapon or object as a weapon) of the Criminal Code. According to investigators, Huseynli allegedly stabbed a resident of Ganja Arzu Gahramanova. Huseynli remains under no exit.
According to the lawyer Elchin Sadigov, at today's court session Huseynli proclaimed his innocence. However, he said he was going to testify later. T he “victim” to Qahramanov again claimed at the trial that Huseynli allegedly hit him, and allegedly made at the instruction of foreign organizations.
Then a police officer Nazim Hajiyev gave testimonies. He said that when he arrived at the hospital, he saw the wounded man. The trial process will continue on June 23.
The NGO “Intelligent Citizen” (ICEC) http://www.kamilv.az/ was founded in 2004. Organization received state registration in February 2009.
