Legal Analysis of Latest Innovations in Law on NGOs
The book Freedom of Association by the famous lawyer Alaskar Mammadli, which contains a legal analysis of the legislation of the country in the field of NGOs, has been published.
In particular, the book reveals the essence of the restrictions included in legislation in the past, especially in 2014, and provides an assessment of their compliance with law and international obligations.
Most of these changes and additions to legislation are aimed at narrowing the freedom of association, the government’s full control over the sector, the maximum limit of NGO funding from independent sources, the inability to perform the functions of social control.
This is the 23rd book by Mammadli on law. It was published in Azerbaijani and English and is a useful resource for readers in Azerbaijan and the international community. -06D-
