Licensing internet broadcasting causes indignation
Baku/06.05.22/Turan: The requirement to have a special permit for broadcasting is unacceptable, media expert Khalid Agaliyev believes. Commenting on the document on licensing of audiovisual media signed by the President of the country, he drew attention to the fact that only television and radio frequencies have been licensed so far, which is due to their limitations.
“That is, these resources are exhaustible, and therefore, for their effective use, the state applies special rules. In other cases, such as those associated with the Internet, resources are unlimited and the introduction of licensing is puzzling. This is nothing but the implementation of an attempt to maintain control over broadcasting,” Agaliyev said. --16D--
