The situation in the Caucasus against the background of the presence of Turkey and Russia, research to identify the COVID-19 pandemic in animals, the attitude towards the intention of the Azerbaijani community to create an office in Khankendi, the reasons for the rise in prices are topics of today's media.
The website “Müsavat.com” writes that Turkey is always next to Azerbaijan and it proved this during the 44-day war in Karabakh in the future it will be able to save Azerbaijan from unpleasant surprises from Russia.
Russia needs to be feared, since it is an unpredictable country, but there is no need to feel fear of it, since Turkey is nearby.
Today Russia is at war with its regional allies. In this situation, Russia is unlikely to want to displease Azerbaijan.
The website "Sfera.az" writes that Azerbaijan has begun research to identify the COVID-19 pandemic in animals. The research is carried out by the Food Safety Agency in shelters for dogs and cats located on the territory of the Absheron region.
According to experts, if a virus is found in animals, the spread of the infection will accelerate. As you know, dogs and cats also sneeze and cough, and this infection is spread by airborne droplets. According to experts, there are 40 types of coronavirus, only 7 of them have been identified in humans.
The Azerforum.com website discusses the statement of the head of the Azerbaijani community of Karabakh, Tural Ganjaliyev, on the opening of an office in Khankendi. Azerbaijani politicians believe that Russia will not oppose this intention. Even before the war, international structures spoke of the need to develop ties between the Armenian and Azerbaijani communities. Political analysts also believe that the security of the Azerbaijani representation in Khankendi cannot be trusted only by the Russians. Both Azerbaijanis and Turks must be present there.
The website “Yenisabah.az” cites the opinion of the economist Natik Jafarli regarding the rise in prices in the country. He argues that the main culprit behind the rise in prices is the Customs Committee. According to information from many businessmen, since January, customs have completely abandoned official fees, having come up with a new scheme. Thus, the customs formalizes imported goods not at the purchase price in the country of purchase, but at the market sale price, which necessarily creates a rise in price within Azerbaijan.
