The export of non-oil sector products over 9 months, the reason for the growth of consumer loans, and the quality of the butter sold in the Araz market are the topics of today's media.
The newspaper Azerbaijan writes that over the 9 months of this year, exports of non-oil products grew by 17%, amounting to $ 1 billion 413 million.
Non-oil products are mainly exported to Russia, Turkey, Switzerland, and Georgia. First of all, these are tomatoes, then gold, and in third place are hazelnuts.
For 9 months of this year, Azercosmos rendered services to 24 countries of the world in the amount of $ 30.2 million.
The Azexport.az portal received export orders worth $ 436.4 million for 9 months of this year. Most orders were received for wine, tobacco, chicken, hazelnuts, onions, tomatoes, cottonseed oil, cosmetics, eggs, pomegranates and more.
The website Yeni Sabah.az writes about the reasons for the growth of consumer loans. According to expert Natig Jafarli, consumer loans account for 44% (more than 930 million) of total loans, but they do not play a driving role in the economy. This role is played by business loans, which are unpopular with banks.
The website Bakupost.az discusses the issue of butter sold in the Araz market. Customers are shocked by the butter, which is cheap and called 555. Russian butter is also sold at a price of 2.99 manat. Experts believe that this is most likely not butter, but vegetable oil, called “spread”.

Baku, often called the "Caucasian Dubai," is increasingly known for systematic violations of residents' housing rights. During urban renovations and the construction of elegant new buildings, thousands of families in Azerbaijan’s capital have been unlawfully deprived of their homes. Many, recognizing the futility of resistance, settle for inadequate monetary compensation for their irreplaceable property. A minority, placing faith in the Housing Code, demand fair compensation from construction companies but often lose everything—both their homes and any form of recompense.
