Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia on the new entry regulations of motorists in Azerbaijan
Tbilisi/06.08.14/Turan-BSPRESS: Under the new standards, which come into force in Azerbaijan on August 15, cars without a certificate, "Euro 4" will be able to enter the country if the driver leaves at the border 40% of the car value.
"Cars without" Euro 4" will be allowed only in Azerbaijan in case the owners at the border contribute the guarantee amount - from 30% to 40% of the value of the car," reads the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia. This money can be returned on departure from Azerbaijan.
In addition, another prerequisite is the written consent of the citizen of Azerbaijan, that he undertakes the responsibility of finding cars in the country that does not meet Euro 4 standards.-02D-
