Ministry of Internal Affairs on Tragedy in Lerik
The Ministry of Internal Affairs press service reported details of the tragedy in Lerik on February 23, where avalanche destroyed a house and killed 4 people.
As it was informed, the tragedy took place at 12 o'clock, when a mass of snow covered the 7-meter-high building of a villager of Orand, Ahliman Mustafayev.
As a result, part of the house was destroyed and the wife, daughter-in-law and two grandchildren of the owner of the house died. After the snow had been cleared, their bodies were found under the ruins, the report says.
According to unofficial data, at the time of the collapse of the house there were six people and two of them managed to escape. -16D
