Mirvari Gahramanli is detained at Baku airport
Chairman of the Committee for Protection of Oil Workers Rights Mirvari Gahramanli was delayed by half an hour on a Friday evening at the Baku airport on arrival from Berlin, Gahramanli herself told on the phone. According to her, she returned from the international conference. Guards took her passport and hold, without giving an explanation. Then she was fully searched at customs control and expressed dissatisfaction, why she did not declare 1,500 manat cash when leaving the country.
Earlier, the prosecutor's office was trying to detain her daughter - the head of the Women's Crisis Center, Matanat Azizova, which was interrogated several times in the case of Leyla Yunus.
Matanat Azizova was forced to leave the country for fear of arrest. Her house was searched, documents, technical equipment were seized.
