Mobile internet now more convenient with Azercell!
Taking into account the growing demand of subscribers for fast and favorable mobile internet, Azercell Telecom - the leading mobile operator in Azerbaijan, has developed a new convenient way of using this popular service. The new option, presented recently has made the internet more user-friendly for the subscribers. Thus, as soon as the mobile data pack runs out, the subscriber will be directed to a special transfer page in order to continue data usage. The page will offer the subscriber three options to choose: update existing data pack, order larger data pack or use internet without data pack (1MB = AZN 0.05).
The greatest advantage of this sevice is that subscribers do not need to send SMS or dial a special code to order to renew data pack. When the data pack runs out, the subscriber activates the internet by one click in the internet browser.
Over the past year Azercell has provided up to 55% discount on Internet tariffs. At the same time, compared to previous years, the total amount of data transmitted through Azercell's network have grown by 35%. Every second subscriber of Azercell is an active Internet user and Mobile internet usage has doubled compared to previous years. The Company was the first not only in Azerbaijan, but also in the entire region to launch 4G technology for its customers which made the internet more convenient and accessible.

The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan has effectively acknowledged that President Ilham Aliyev’s official aircraft, “Baku-1,” encountered external technical interference while flying to St. Petersburg for the informal summit of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) on December 25. Azerbaijan is set to experience a sharp drop in temperatures, with stormy and snowy conditions expected across the country in the coming days, the National Hydrometeorology Service said on Monday. The forecast warns of intense precipitation in some areas, snowfall in mountainous and foothill regions, icy roads, and strong winds.
