According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office, the district prosecutor's office received information about the deliberate murder of Mehpara Aliyeva and her four children in her own home.
During the inspection of the basement of the house, the remains of human bodies were discovered. It is established that these are Mehpara Aliyeva and her daughters Rahiba, Sevda, Irada and Umida, lost three years ago.
It is established that Mehpara"s husband, Farhad Aliyev (born in 1954) killed them and buried the bodies in the yard of the house, in which his son of Fagan (born in 1989) helped him.
A criminal case was initiated under Article 120.2.7 (deliberate killing of two or more people). Farhad Aliyev was detained as a suspect, the official statement said.
