Baku/17.03.22/Turan: During the two-week operation the officers of the Main Anti-Drug Department of the Interior Ministry withdrew 104 kg of drugs from illegal turnover, 38 drug traffickers were detained. This was reported by the Interior Ministry on March 17.
During the operation in Yasamal district of the capital the police detained previously convicted Elgiz Agayev and Araz Bunyatov.
In Absheron, Gobustan and Barda regions of the country the police detained Elman Aliyev, Khayyam Beidemirov and Mansur Imanov.
The above mentioned persons created an organized group and were storing drugs delivered from abroad in their yards. Also, they intended to deliver them to Baku for sale.
Criminal cases were initiated, the detainees were arrested by the court decisions. -05В06-
