Nearly 1,700 new cases of COVID-19 infection per day
Baku/23.01.22/Turan: 1,697 new cases of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) have been registered in Azerbaijan over the past day, 526 patients have recovered, 13 have died, said on January 23
Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 633,731 cases of COVID-19 infection have been detected in the country, including 612,292 people who have recovered, 8,610 have died, and 12,829 are actively sick.
Over the past day, 8851 tests for coronavirus have been carried out.
Also, over the past day, 22,586 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19.
During the day, the number of people vaccinated with the first dose was 2,042, the second - 2,122 people.
The total number of vaccinations in Azerbaijan today is 11,813,840, of which 5,214,124 received the first dose of the vaccine, 4,729,272 received two doses, and 1,870,444 received a booster dose.—06B-
