New Achievement of FC Karabakh from Azerbaijan
Baku / 18.10.17 / Turan: FC Karabakh from Agdam, Azerbaijan played a draw 0: 0 with FC Atletico from Madrid in Baku on October 18 and won its first point in the group stage of the football Champions League.
FC Karabakh did not flinch before the eminent rival, played on equal terms and had good chances even to win. In any case, in the second half, FC Karabakh had more opportunities to hit the opponent's gate.
At the 71st minute Mahir Madatov gave an elegant pass to Dino Ndlovu, and he beat the defender with fiddles and struck from the center of the penalty area. But the ball passed by the "nine".
At the 75th minute the same Ndlovu was in a favorable position in the opponent's penalty area. In single combat with the defender, Ndlovu was on the lawn. In a controversial situation, a judge from France not only did not appoint a penalty, but also punished Ndlovu, showing him the second yellow card. So the referee left FC Karabakh with ten men.
After that, FC Atletico attacked more, but it failed to create really scoring chances. Meanwhile FC Karabakh did not miss the opportunities to counterattack. At the 90th minute the goalkeeper of the hosts successfully introduced the ball into the game, bringing Tariq Eliunussi to an excellent position. The latter struck from the penalty area powerfully, but not accurately.
Another interesting combination of FC Karabakh was created literally at the very end of the match, but Wild-Donald Gerier hesitated and missed the moment for the strike.
Thus, after the away defeat by Chelsea 0: 6 and loss in Baku to Roma 1: 2, FC Karabakh won its first point in the group. -----06D -

In 2017, the Sumgayit City Court ruled to evict the Aliyev family—refugees from Gubadli (Akper, Sarvinaz, Ramil, and two other family members)—from an illegally occupied apartment in the 12th microdistrict, Building 7A, Apartment 35. The court ordered the property be returned to its rightful owner, Samaya Aliyeva. However, the Ministry of Justice intervened, citing a presidential decree from July 1, 2004, which approved a state program for improving the living and working conditions of refugees. Under this directive, refugees without alternative housing cannot be evicted until they are provided with a replacement residence by the Executive Authority.
