Nineteen people died and 51 injured on the roads of Baku over two days
Nineteen people died and 51 were injured in the 17 accident that occurred on the roads of the country on May 18-19. According to the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the majority of accidents, were collisions of cars and pedestrian accidents.
On May 18 in Guba a minibus went off the road and crashed into a tree, killing five and injuring six people. On the same day in Nasimi district, as a result of the capital in an automobile collision "Daewoo" and "Mercedes" one man died and five people were injured.
Four people died and four were injured in the collision of two cars in Shamkir region.
On May 19 three people died and two were injured in Shamakhi region. The same day, two more people died and three were wounded in a collision of two cars in Imishli region.
Deadly statistics on the country's roads continues to be extremely high. The main reason is a violation of traffic rules: high speed, wrong overtaking and crossing the road in a prohibited place.
